After marketing to the Design Trade since we opened in January of 2000 we have made great changes.  When we started the business of custom rug making we wanted to stay in the basement, a cottage industry … so we choose to market to the Interior Designers and told them if they gave us the work we wanted would we stay quietly in the basement and if not in Five years we would take on a retail location and market to the public.  Well, we opened up a small shop in Botetourt county three years ago on the corner of 220 and Amsterdam Road.   And those that are lucky enough to find us have been thrilled to the marvelous finds in a quiet off the beaten trail shop.  Our merchandise and services exceed the Custom rug place we have built our reputation on.  Now we are offering Custom Everything from Window Treatments to Furniture and Accessories.  We Host an evening of laughter while introducing new things for your home.  We have Catalogs for everything you see that you can not find.  life changes and so has CarpetArt!
